Once created, travels along the route from the creation point to the screen edge and back. Every time it crosses the screen edge, the sentry points are added. When enough sentry points are gained, visible area expanded.
Due to the performance reasons multiple submarines can be merged into one outside of the screen. But this doesn't affect their scouting ability.
